Sam Petty
Sam Petty (19) runs for North Devon Athletic Club. He is currently one of the fastest 800m and 1500m runners in the UK and is regularly competing in national and international events. He is also a very fine swimmer and competes nationally and internationally in biathlons.
Sam is currently training for inclusion in the 2012 Olympics, with an eye on 2016.
Sam's goals for the season centre around the European U23 Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic in July 2011. He'll be spending the next six weeks trying to obtain the qualifying standard of 1.48.0 at various meetings across the country.
